LifeSize Wins Atlanta School District

Austin-based LifeSize reported this morning that it has signed on a rural school district north of Atlanta, the Gordon County School System. According to LifeSize, the district is using the firm's HD video conferencing systems to connect its nine K-12 schools and central administration office. LifeSize said that the district is using the systems to perform remote staff development training session and development meetings, in light of district-wide budget reductions. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed.
