Invodo Adds New Visual Commerce Offering

Austin-based Invodo, the provider of service to the e-commerce industry, said today that it has added a new offering which adds "spin" photography to its content production and technology solutions. "Spin photography" is the use of 360 degree photos which let consumers see a product from multiple sides, and pan, zoom, and rotate on multiple axes while shopping online. According to Invoco, it now is able to provide photography services -- using laser-guided robotic photography equipment -- to create that spin photography for e-commerce sites. The new service is also tied with an HTML-based player to show off those photos on both desktop and mobile platforms. Pricing on the new service was not announced. Invodo is led by Craig Wax.
