Invensys In Energy Monitoring Alliance

Plano-based Invensys, a provider of technology, software, and consulting to the process and manufacturing industry, has tied together with Cypress Envirosystems, a developer of wireless sensors for the manufacturing industry, the firms said today. The companies aid their technology alliance will ensure interoperability between Cypress Envirosystems' wireless monitoring and control products, and Invensys Operations Management's Wonderware Corporate Energy Management Application. Invensys' Wonderware software is used heavily by manufacturer for process control and monitoring of their systems. Cypress Envirosystems makes a number of wireless sensors used to monitor various types of process equipment.
