Interop Technologies Target Dallas For Data Center

Florida-based Interop Technologies reports this morning that the firm will open up a new, 23,000 square foot data center in Dallas, as the firm looks to expand services for its clients. Interop said the new facility will be located in the Las Colinas business district in Irving, and will be staffed with employees 24/7/365. The firm said it will be hiring additional employees for the center, with 70-80 employees in the center providing product development, project management, technical operations, technical support, and sales by 2010. Interop explained that it selected Dallas due to the available of quality telecom and data expertise in the Dallas area. Interop serves telecommunications operators with its data centers. The firm said it is investing around $3M to buy the Las Colinas building and make capital improvements to the property.
