InQuinox Takes On Deduplication

Austin-based InQuinox, a new startup founded by veterans of Veritas, said today that it has launched a new product for deploying Symantec's NetBackup PureDisk deduplication software. The firm said its first product provides high performance, "plug-and-play" deployment of the software, used to minimize data storage footprint in data centers. The firm was founded by Ray Schafer and McKinney, and is headed by Brad Hargett, all former employees of Symantec/Veritas.
