Ignite Technologies Buys Assets From Abacast

Frisco-based Ignite Technologies, a provider of content deliver network services, said this morning that it has acquired several assets of Abacast, including live stream peer-to-peer technology and two related patents. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Ignite said it has been using that technology for two years, as part of a partnership with Abacast.
