Idearc Partners With Jingle Networks

Jingle Networks Inc., operator of the 1-800-FREE411 directory assistance service, and Idearc Media Corp., publisher of the Verizon Yellow Pages and home to Superpages.com, announced Monday that they have formed a strategic alliance. The companies said their partnership will blend Superpages.com's advertisers with 1-800-FREE411's consumers. The two firms said callers looking for specific businesses or business types will be relayed to qualifying Superpages.com advertisers. Jingle Networks operates 1-800-FREE411, a free mobile directory service, and is based in Menlo Park, Calif. Idearc Media Corp. is headquartered in Dallas.
