Houston Technology Center Dangles $150K For Entrepreneurs
The Houston Technology Center announced today that it has named the finalists competing for $150,000 in prizes in its Goradia Innovation Prize, an effort to recognize the best innovations from Texas Gulf Coast universities and research institutions. According to the HTC, the finalists are Arcos, a developer of clinical decision support software; Canopy Edge, a developer of a therapy delivery platform; Nano3D Biosciences, developing 3D cell culturing methods; Noninvasix, working on blood diagnostics; OsComp Systems, developing a compressor for liquids-rich shale well production; Osteocene, bone reconstruction technology; Shape Memory Therapeutics, neurovascular devices; and Signal Advance, a developer of signal detection technology. The group is naming the winners on October 5th.
