HomeAway Ties Into Uber, Instacart and Gogobot

Austin-based HomeAway announced a three way tie into popular mobile app software companies Uber, Instacart, and Gogobot late Wednesday, saying that it will make it easier for its customers to find transportation, stock up on groceries, plan local activities and choose restaurants by tying into the mobile services. HomeAway also said it has led a Series C funding in Gogobot as part of the integration deal. Uber lets mobile users find a ride; Instacart helps with food and grocery delivery; and Gogobot is a travel search and discovery engine.
