HomeAway Revenues Rise To $61.1M In Q3

Austin-based HomeAway, in its second quarter as a public company, said Thursday that its revenues rose to $61.1M, up 36.9 percent, year over year. The firm said it had over 129 million visits to its network of sites, and that revenues were driven by strength in renewal rates and increase revenue per listing from the prior year. Among factors in the revenue growth was its launch of pay-for-performance pricing, where its users pay to rank higher in search results. HomeAway operates an online marketplace for vacation rentals, which helps property owners market their properties to travelers.
