HomeAway COO Harris Dies

Austin-based HomeAway reported Thursday that the firm's Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Harris, has passed away. The firm said that Harris died at home after a long battle with cancer. Harris was COO of HomeAway since October of 2005, and had previously served as CEO of Handtech and president of Dell Computer International. HomeAway said that it will begin a global search for a replacement for Harris.
