HomeAway Buys Mobile App Developer

Austin-based vacation rental marketplace operator HomeAway said this morning that it has acquired mobile app developer Glad to Have You, which develops a mobile guest management solution for the vacation rental industry. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Glad to Have You was founded by Keith Landers and Jason Sprenkle. HomeAway said that Glad To Have YOu's mobile app is used by property managers and homeowners, to help them manage and communicate with guests during their stay. The app handles detailed rental logistics, provides Wi-Fi passwords, phone numbers, check-in/out instructions; helps recommend nearby activities; and also handles ratings and reviews.
