Hitachi Opens Up Shop In Dallas

Hitachi Communication Technologies America, the U.S. subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. which develops communications equipment, said Friday that it has opened up a new facility in Richardson. According to Hitachi, the facility will focus on developing equipment for Long-Term Evolution (LTE) wireless networks and other 4G mobile communications markets. Hitachi said the new center, which will be called its Dallas R&D Center, has hired on a seasoned staff of architects, R&D, and business personnel at the new center; size of the staff was not disclosed.
