HTC Hires Entrepreneur-In-Residence

The Houston Technology Center reported Tuesday that it has named former political aide Bill Crow its nanotechnology entrepreneur-in-residence. Crow, the center explained, recently retired as chief of staff for Texas Congressman John Culberson (R-Houston). According to the center, Crow's efforts for Rep. Culberson focused on nanohealth, nanoenergy and traffic reduction. The center added that Crow's previous stints at Tobin, Seismic Computing Corp., Swanson & Crow and GPS Technology Corp. has given him the private-sector experience to help develop a nanotechnology startup. The Houston Technology Center is a non-profit organization that assists Houston-based emerging technology companies within the energy, information technology, life sciences, nanotechnology and aerospace sectors.
