HBMG Names CEO

Austin-based HBMG, a provider of information technology services and consulting, said Friday that it has named David Smith as the firm's new Chief Executive Officer. Smith was most recently the Vice President of Consulting, Alliances and Education at Technology Futures Inc. Smith has also served as Assistant Dean of the University of Texas Information Technology and Services College, among other positions. HBMG said Smith will supervise the growth and development of the Austin firm throughout the American and international commercial and government markets.
