Group Buying Firm LivingSocial Expands Into Houston

Group buying service LivingSocial, one of a number of firms which are offering up daily local deal offers to consumers, said yesterday that it is expanding into Houston, as part of an expansion of its services. The Washington, D.C.-based firm already offers its services in Austin and Dallas. The firm sends out daily, highly discounted offers from local merchants, usually around restaurants, hotels, and other local stores.
