GodTube.com Forms Faith-Based Channel Network

Christian video Web site GodTube.com revealed Tuesday that it has established a network of 50 faith-based organizations that will extend the site's reach to more than 80 percent of the country's churches. GodTube.com said its "Ministry Partners" span many denominations, from Protestant to Catholic, and include 300,000 of the 360,000 churches in the United States. GodTube.com listed Thomas Nelson Publishers, the American Bible Society, Liberty University and the Crystal Cathedral as some of its most distinguished partners. The Dallas-based Web site also reported that it is sponsoring a competition for a four-year scholarship to Liberty University. GodTube.com explained that high school-aged students will compete for the scholarship, which is valued at $60,000, by submitting videos that describe how faith has inspired their choice of profession and what they would like to accomplish at the school.
