GlobalScape Ties With Hadoop Developer

San Antonio-based file transfer software developer Globalscape is moving into the "big data" market, with a new tie today with Hortonworks, the developer of the popular Apache software Hadoop. According to the two firms, they have partnered to provide file transfer solutions for customers using big data and Hadoop. Hortonworks will gain access to GLobascape's Enhanced File Transfer (EFT) technology, to move files to Apache Hadoop. Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed.
