Genband Intros IP Gateway Products

Plano, Texas-based Genband has rolled out two new products, the firm said Tuesady. Genband said that its new wireline and wireless media gateways, the C2 Compact media gateway and C9 Converged Media Gateway, are designed to work with softswitch and IMS cores for telecommunications operators. The company's products are used by telecom providers to deliver multimedia to their subscribers. Genband is a manufacturer of products for the wireless, mobile, and cable communications market.
