Gazzang Adds MongoDB Support

Austin-based Gazzang, the developer of database encryption tools aimed at the cloud and open source software, has expanded out its support for different database software packages to MongoDB. Gazzang said it has linked with 10gen, the company which is behind MongoDB, to provide its encryption technology to that software. MongoDB is a NoSQL database aimed at online companies for storing their data. Gazzang is headed by Larry Warnock, and venture backed by Austin Ventures and Silver Creek Ventures.
