GENBAND Wins Saudi Arabian Customer

Plano-based GENBAND reports today that it has signed a Saudi Arabian customer for its equipment. GENBAND said that Digital Star, a new Saudi Arabian service provider, as well as related Egyptian subsidiary 1Phone, have selected the firm's hardware for use in the Middle East. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. Digital Star is offering up hosted applications to enterprises and carriers, and is using GENBAND's products for its IP gateway products.
