Fujitsu Network Communications Gives $250K To Japan Relief

Richardson-based Fujitsu Network Communications, which is a unit of Tokyo-based Fujitsu Limited, said today that it will contribute as much as $250,000 to the American Red Cross Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Fund. The firm said it has donated $100,000, and has commited another $150,000 to match employee and business partner donations to to support disaster and humanitarian relief efforts. Fujitsu Network Communications' parent, Fujitsu Limited, has closed at least 10 of its plants in Northern Japan and greater Tokyo, with major damage to a number of its plants.
