FareCompare Expands Travel Inspiration, Discovery App

Dallas-based FareCompare, an airline flight search engine, said that it has expanded the reach of its travel inspiration and discovery app, Eventurist, to fifteen additional countries and Puerto Rico. The app--which was just released in October--lets users browse events and find cheap flights to different travel destinations. The app now supports discovery of events and flights to Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, as well as in the United States. The app is available both for iOS and Android. FareCompare is led by Rick Seaney.
