EquityMetrix Raises $5M For Oil and Gas Data Management Service

Dallas-based Equity Metrix, a developer of data management tools for the oil and gas industry, said this morning that it has raised $5M in a funding round. The round came from Peterson Partners. According to EquityMetrix, is has developing a big-data, cloud-based, machine-learning system for analyzing and organizing exploration and production records for the oil and gas industry. The company said the new funding goes towards development of new services. EquityMetrix is led by Tom Agnew. More information »
