Entrust Licenses Encryption Solution to Chinese Firm

Entrust Inc., a Dallas-based provider of digital data encryption services, reported Thursday that a Chinese data security firm will purchase 20,000 licenses of Entrust's new network folder encryption application, Entelligence Group Share. The financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. According to Entrust, PXInfosec Technology Co. Ltd. licensed the application because it gives clients a simple way to encrypt and share group files or folders across a network. Entrust added that, with Entelligence Group Share, any files or folder contents will remain encrypted even if they are copied or moved to another drive, network or device. Founded in 1999, PXInfosec is headquartered in Shanghai, China.
