Entrust Expands Into Linux Market

Dallas-based Entrust, a developer of digital identification software, said today that the firm has added support for Linux Red Hat in its Authority Security Manager product. The firm said that the addition of Linux support for its PKI offering is the first in the open source market. Entrust's public key infrastructure (PKI) software is used for key and certificate management services. The firm's software previously only ran on Windows, Sun Solaris, IBM AIX, and HP-UX machines.
