Embarcadero Technologies Rolls Out Monthly App Contest

Austin-based Embarcadero Technologies, which develops a number of software development tools, said it has launched a new monthly contest to award prizes to developers of "cool apps". The company said the contest is open to both business and consumer applications, built on such products as RAD Studio, Delphi or C++Builder, along with its VCL, FireMonkey, DataSnap, EMS, FireDAC, InterBase and other components. Embarcadero said it would award $2000, to be spent on Embarcadero products. Embarcadero is now part of Idera.
