Embarcadero Technologies Launches New Product

Austin-based software developer Embarcadero Technologies said this week that it has launched a new produt called RAD Server. According to the company--which is now part of IDERA--the new product provides a back end platform for developing Delphi and C++Builder application services. Pricing on the software was not announced. The company said the back end can either run in-house or on a cloud host such as Amazon or Microsoft Azure. Embarcadero said its RAD Server provides REST publishing, integration middleware, and a collection of service such as user directory services, push notification, user location tracking, and data storage, for app developers.
