Eltek Gets Diversity Award

Plano-based Eltek, the manufacturer of power and telecom electronics, said last week that it has been given an award from AT&T around the company's support of minority-owned, woman-owned and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses. Eltek said it received the Supplier Diversity Crystal Award by AT&T for its efforts. AT&T apparently selected its prime suppliers who met or exceeded 21.5 percent diversity utilization in 2013; the companies did not announce how those numbers are measured. Eltek has major operations in Plano, but now is headquartered in Norway.
