EDS Extends Healthcare Contract

Plano-based IT consulting provider EDS said Thursday that the firm has renewed a contract with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, covering a claims processing system. Financial impact of the deal were not disclosed. The firms been working together for more than 20 years, since 1987, on the contract--which covers consolidation of multiple claims processing platforms--into a single system.
