DisplaySearch Adds VP

Market research and consulting firm DisplaySearch reported Monday that it has hired Paul Semenza as senior vice president. In this role, DisplaySearch noted, he will manage its North American and European analyst teams. The Austin, Texas-based business described Semenza as a 20-year veteran of the global market research industry who most recently served as vice president and manager of iSuppli's display business. Before iSuppli, he was a program officer for the National Research Council's Computer Science and Telecommunications Board. Before that, he consulted on international patent activity for Mogee Research and provided analysis for the U.S. Congress' Office of Technology Assessment.
