Dell Services Launches IoT Accelerator For Insurance Industry

Dell Services, the consulting end of Dell, said Thursday that it has launched a brand new, business accelerator effort, focused on the Internet of Things and insurance. According to Dell Services, its new Internet of Things (IoT) Insurance Accelerator will specifically help insurance companies create new products and services. Unlike most accelerators, the new Dell effort is not focused on startups, but instead on internal development efforts of insurers. Dell said it will provide integrated tools, hardware, software, infrastructure and cloud for those insurers to help them launch new products.
