Dell Completes Quest Software Buy

Round Rock-based Dell has completed its $2.4 billion acquisition of Quest Software, the company said this morning. Dell had originally announced the acquisition in July. Quest Software is a provider of IT management tools. Dell said the acquisition adds 100,000 customers, 5,000 channel partners, 1,500 software sales and marketing experts, and 1,300 software developers to the Dell Software Group.
