CyrusOne Powers Nirvanix Cloud Storage Expansion

Dallas-based colocation and data center provider CyrusOne is behind a boost in capacity at cloud storage provider Nirvanix, Nirvanix said today. Nirvanix, which provides a cloud storage service aimed at enterprise backup and storage, reported that it has doubled its cloud storage capacity in Dallas through an agreement with CyrusOne. Financial details of the deal, and amount of storage, was not announced. Nirvanix said the deal will add a second data center location in Dallas for the firm. The two said that CyrusOne will be linking its Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio data centers together with the Nirvanix enterprise cloud storage service, to provide data archive, backup, and content collaboration for Fortune 1000 customers.
