Crossroads Takes On NAS Archiving

Austin-based Crossroads Systems, which develops data archiving and other related storage products, said today that it has launched a new product aimed at network attached storage (NAS) archiving. The company said its StrongBox DataManager helps specifically for archiving NetApp, Windows, and Linux File Systems. The company said its product helps eliminate much of the complexity and data protection issues behind network attached storage filers. Pricing on the new product was not announced.
