Cowtown Angels' Wisegate Investment Largest So Far

The Cowtown Angels have made their largest investment to date so far, as part of the funding round announced this morning from Wisegate. The angel group, headquartered in Fort Worth, said it invested $620,000 in the round for Wisegate. Wisegate raised $3M from Cowtown, in addition to Atlanta Technology Angels, Central Texas Angel Network and Golden Seeds. Cowtown said that it has now invested more than $1.4M in companies since its formation in September of 2012; the company also has invested in PerioSciences, National Dental Implant, and inview Technology Corporation. Cowtown is headquartered out of Tech Fort Worth. Wisegate is a provider of services for IT professionals, helping executives share information and collaborate with others in the industry via private forums.
