CopperEgg Acquired By Idera

Austin-based web-based application and cloud monitoring tools provider CopperEgg has been acquired by fellow Texas software developer Idera. Financial details of the buy were not announced by the company. CopperEgg said that it will continue to be based in Austin, and will use the acquisition to grow its development and go-to-market. Idera is based in Houston, and makes server monitoring tools. CopperEgg was venture backed by Silverton Partners,Webb Investment Network, and Kenny Van Zant, and had raised around $4.1M in funding. Idera is backed by Austin Ventures.
