Conversable Debuts Conversational Commerce Platform

Dallas-based Conversable, a new startup founded by serial enterpreneurs Andrew Busey and Ben Lamm, said Tuesday afternoon that it has launched a new platform which lets companies create interactive, automated experiences on messaging and voice platforms, including Facebook and Twitter. As part of that launch, the company said it has teamed up with Wingstop, to allow Wingstop's customers to place orders from Facebook and Twitter via a "bot" which interfaces with customers. Lamm was cofounder and partner of Team Chaos, which he recently sold to Zynga, and also was the founder and CEO of Chaotic Moon Studios and Simply Interactive. Busey was also co-founder and served as CEO of Team Chaos, was a partner at Chaotic Moon, and also served at Austin Ventures, in addition to serving as VP and GM of Zynga Austin.
