Connectloud Finds Funding, Names CEO

Dallas-based Connectloud revealed that the firm has raised a roudn of funding, and hired on a new CEO. The stealth mode, enterprise software startup did not detail information on its funding, only saying that the Series-A round of funding closed early this year. The company revealed the funding today, when it said it has named Zeeshan Naseh as its President and CEO. Naseh was previously Director of Services at Cisco Systems, and had been at that company for 15 years. The company said its advisors include Kenneth P. Morse, founding Managing Director of the MIT Enterpreneurship Center; Dr. Ryan J. Orr, a profesor at Stanford University; and Dr. Kamil Sarac, an associate professor of computer science at the University of Texas, Dallas. A regulatory filing indicates that the firm was in the midst of raising $2.0M in a funding in March. More information »
