CSID Aids Stratfor Customers

Austin-based global intelligence research firm Stratfor, which was hit this week by a major attack by hackers, is retaining fellow Austin-based fraud detection provider CSID to assist its customers, the two said this morning. According to the two firms, CSID has been retained to assist Stratfor customers whose financial information may have been compromised by the high visibility cyber attacks. Hackers who claim to be associated with the group Anonymous have taken responsibility for the Christmas Day hack.
