Bloodbuy Banks $3.75M For Health Information Systems

Dallas-based Bloodbuy, a developer of a cloud-based platform to connect blood centers with hospitals, has raised $3.75M in a strategic funding, according to the company. The funding came from Premier Supply Chain Improvement, which is related to health company Premier, Inc., along with St. Joseph Health. Durral Gilbert of Premier and Nita Stith of St. Joseph Health have both joined the company's board with the funding. The company said it will use the funding to expand its network of hospitals and blood centers, add technology, and grow its team. More information »
