Bigfoot Networks Moves HQ To Silicon Valley

Austin-based Bigfoot Networks, which makes networking hardware for computer gamers, is moving its headquarters to Silicon Valley, after hiring a new President and CEO. Bigfoot said that Michael Howse has joined the firm, replacing founder Harlan Beverly, who becomes CTO and Vice President of Engineering. According to Bigfoot Networks, Michael Howse was most recently CEO of Packethop, has also served at Creative Labs, S3, and 3dfx, and was an entrepreneur in residence at U.S. Venture Partners. Bigfoot said it will be maintaining primary technology development in Austin. Bigfoot Networks is venture backed by North Bridge Venture Partners and Palomar Ventures.
