Big In Japan Powers Consumer Reports App

Dallas-based Big In Japan, the maker of the popular ShopSavvy mobile comparison shopping and barcode reading application, said today that it is powering the new Consumer Reports Mobile Shopper app for the iPhone. According to Big In Japan, Consumer Reports has incorporated its barcode scanning technology in the new iPhone application. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The Consumer Reports Mobile Shopper application costs $9.99 for one year's access in the Apple iTunes Store.
