Berkshire Hathaway Acquires TTI

Fort Worth, Texas-based TTI has been acquired by Berkshire Hathaway, the companies said Friday. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. TTI is an electronic component distributor. The deal also includes Mouser Electronics, a subsidiary of TTI. The companies said that the acquisition is expected to close in the first quarter of 2007. Paul Andrews, Chariman and CEO of TTI, will continue to operate the firm.
