Bazaarvoice Teams With E-Commerce Software Firm

Austin, Texas-based Bazaarvoice, a provider of software-as-a-service for online retailers, announced Monday that it and Fry Inc., a developer of ecommerce software, have collaborated to produce a turnkey ecommerce solution. Bazaarvoice explained the new application blends its ratings and reviews feature with Fry's Open Commerce Platform. Bazaarvoice provides software which allows users to rate and review products; the company's software is used by online retailers to provide information on their products. Bazaarvoice is venture backed by Austin Ventures, Battery Ventures, and First Round Capital.
