Bazaarvoice Signs JVC

Austin-based Bazaarvoice, which provides ratings and reviews software to ecommerce sites, has signed on another customer, JVC, the firm announced Friday. JVC is a major consumer electronics manufacturer. According to Bazaarvoice, JVC Company of America will use the firm's platform on its web site, allowing consumers to add and browse product reviews on the site. Financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. Bazaarvoice has steadily been signing up ecommerce sites for its products, which are also being used by Borders, Dell, Macy’s, Office Depot, Inc., Overstock.com, and others.
