Bazaarvoice Partners With Buddy Media

Austin-based Bazaarvoice said this morning that it has linked with social enterprise software provider Buddy Media. According to the two, they are partnering to help brands integrate their online "customer conversations" into their social media campaigns. The two said that Westin Hotels & Resorts is the first company to use the joint offering from the companies, on the hotel chain's Facebook page. Financial details of the integration deal were not announced by the company, but they did say that the deal will allow brands using Buddy Media to integrate customer-generated ratings and reviews from Bazaarvoice. The customer generated content--including reviews, ratings, comments, and sharing--shows up on an app on the Westin Hotels & Resort Facebook page.
