Bazaarvoice Launches New Social Features

Austin-based Bazaarvoice said Wednesday that it has unveiled a number of new, social features, which it says will help its clients tap into the Facebook social networks. Bazaarvoice said it has rolled out new sharing features taking advantage of Facebook's Open Graph API, a new application for Facebook, and new personalization features for the ratings and review software. Among the new features is integration with Facebook's new Timeline feature, which provides a much more granular, detailed view of a Facebook user's activity on the web. Bazaarvoice provides its software-as-a-service to companies, to power ratings, reviews, and other social functionality for those companies.
