BMC Taps Tripwire For Virtual Computing Software

Houston-based BMC Software said this morning that it has begun shipping a new compliance and security product targeted at the popular VMware virtual server market. BMC said it will offer the Tripwire Enterprise for VMware ESX Server product, from Tripwire Inc., as part of a strategic relationship. Financial details of the arrangement were not disclosed. The software product is used to monitor enterprise infrastructure and compliance of VMware ESX Server configurations.
