BMC Software Wins Casino, Hotel Operator

Houston-based corporate IT applications developer BMC Software revealed this morning that the Las Vegas Sands Corp. is one of its clients. According to BMC, Las Vegas Sands is using BMC solutions to manage its information technology and systems infrastructure. BMC said Las Vegas Sands, which owns and operates several Sin City hotels and casinos, has adopted BMC's BladeLogic Operations Manager and Configuration Automation for Networks products to manage hundreds of servers and network devices responsible for Web site, point-of-sale, corporate financial systems, and resort services applications. BMC said the client has deployed the solutions throughout its North American properties with plans for an eventual rollout worldwide. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed.
